Whale sharks ..appear at Gladden Spit in April and May, when large aggregations of cubera snappers spawn.
As fertilized eggs float to the surface in patches like small oil slicks, the whale sharks loll about with
wide open mouths, inhaling their meals. Dr. Will Heyman..working in
Belize ..for 10 years, counted 25 whale sharks at one point in an area
150 feet in diameter...

Whale shark also turn up in April near Donsol, Sorsogon RP,
Also "March & April" in Ningaloo in WA
seems like they all live for that April fling

Asawa problems. Her phone not working, txt only, so I sent $ for a new phone
but spent on windows (?) and 800 for police(?) So I sulked and no txt until Sat.
Now Asawa is sulking, no txt for 10 days.
I lie awake wondering. Call my hipag sister. Cell answered in Sabang by Riza.
Both sisters are down at the beach. A. assures me that Asawa is still up in Town.
Gives me another # to txt, but not in service. Bad situation,
Feel like jumping on a jetplane.
My little brother anonces he is dropping out from his law firm.
Im just a jealous guy

asked if I could have a ‘go’ on his AK 47 when we got to Baghdad. I don’t know why. And I never expected to actually be given the chance. It was the kind of comment that I would normally make on the kind of building site where I often work. Wanting a ‘go’ on someone’s big drill / grinder / power tool.

So I fired an AK. Magazine removed, into wasteland that followed the trajectory of the bullet. It was a big, powerful, wall – breaking, spark – flying, dangerous, noisy, fantastically engineered tool.

The Roof...
Hot. It's hot, hot, hot, hot.
The weather is almost stifling now. The air is heavy and dry with heat.
By early noon, it's almost too hot to go outside. For every two hours of
electricity, we have four hours of no electricity in our area- and several
other areas. The problem now is that the generators in many areas are starting
to break down due to constant use and the bad quality of the fuel. It's a big
problem and it promises to grow as the summer progresses.
